I'm super pleased that my "Poppers and Plugs" pattern made it into the Top Ten in the Fishing Lures-themed Spoonflower contest! Thanks so much for your votes everyone!
Now it's time to vote again! Please show some love for my "Floating Rhinos" design in the Rhinoceroses-themed Spoonflower contest this week!
It's been a looooong time since I participated in a Spoonflower weekly contest and I've decided it's time to start up again. It can be so hard to come up with ideas and inspiration sometimes and having a theme chosen for you once a week and a deadline is a great motivator. So here's my entry for this week's contest which has the theme of Fishing Lures. Please take a moment to stop by Spoonflower and vote for my design!
It's been a while since I had time to participate in one of Spoonflower's weekly contests - well, I still don't have time, but since gardening is one of my favorite activities, I figured I had to make the time to do a gardening tools design. My design is called Garden Delight and features a bunch of yummy veggies and fruits along with the requisite tools. If you like it, how 'bout you head over to Spoonflower and give it a vote?! Thank you!
The theme of this week's Spoonflower contest is "Year of the Snake". My contest entry, called "Haven", is a vintage-style floral with little corn snakes wriggling around. I used to have a pet corn snake named Streudel (he was a good friend) and he was my inspiration here. Please visit Spoonflower if you'd like to vote in this week's contest. Thanks!
The theme of this week's Spoonflower contest is snowflakes. This is my entry called "Winter Formal" that has the required snowflakes along with a bunch of adorable polar bears in bow ties. I can see this design on wrapping paper for sure, but it would also make fun pajamas for kids don't you think? How 'bout you head over to Spoonflower and vote for my design?! Many thanks!
Did you know that Spoonflower now offers wallpaper and wall decals? Well, I've finally gotten around to doing a little admin on my shop, so now you can find many of my fabric designs as wallpaper and wall decals. Visit my shop to see what's available!
This week's Spoonflower contest is titled "Under the Sea" and the object is to design a nautically inspired tee shirt for a toddler girl. The winning design will be featured in Storey Publishing's upcoming book: 101 Little One-Yard Wonders. Please head over to Spoonflower and vote for my design!
Here is my entry for this week's Spoonflower contest - it's called Flightless Fancy. This week's requirements were to create a bird or flight-related fabric in a limited color palette of grey, green, turquoise and yellow. The winner will be used in a cover photo for the UK craft magazine Mollie Makes. Wish me luck!
