I'm soooo excited to share with you that I made the top 50 in Lilla Rogers' Global Talent Search!
Lilla Rogers is one of the most sought after art licensing agents in the biz and this is the 2nd year she's holding a contest to search for her next artist. The winner receives a two year contract with her agency and a whole smorgasbord of licensing deals. My goal was to get in the top 50 and I did it! I put my all into this little piece of artwork and I am so elated to see it on the list!
I am also delighted to see so many of my favorite artists' work in the top 50, check them all out HERE.
I'm so excited to announce that my "Chickadee Gift" card was chosen as a runner up in the "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" category in Minted's Non-Photo Holiday Card contest. My design will be offered in three colorways in Minted's shop soon!
Calendars are currently up for voting at Minted and I have entered this triangle patterny one you see below. If you'd like to, please head over to Minted and check out all the awesome entries and don't forget to vote for my design! Thanks!
It's been a while since I had time to participate in one of Spoonflower's weekly contests - well, I still don't have time, but since gardening is one of my favorite activities, I figured I had to make the time to do a gardening tools design. My design is called Garden Delight and features a bunch of yummy veggies and fruits along with the requisite tools. If you like it, how 'bout you head over to Spoonflower and give it a vote?! Thank you!
I just learned about the 5th Annual Sock It To Me Design Contest and I thought it would be fun to enter. What do you think, would you wear these socks?
I had some free time, so I decided to work on another submission to this month's Tigerprint competition. This pattern is called "Zirkus".
The theme of this week's Spoonflower contest is "Year of the Snake". My contest entry, called "Haven", is a vintage-style floral with little corn snakes wriggling around. I used to have a pet corn snake named Streudel (he was a good friend) and he was my inspiration here. Please visit Spoonflower if you'd like to vote in this week's contest. Thanks!
The theme of this week's Spoonflower contest is snowflakes. This is my entry called "Winter Formal" that has the required snowflakes along with a bunch of adorable polar bears in bow ties. I can see this design on wrapping paper for sure, but it would also make fun pajamas for kids don't you think? How 'bout you head over to Spoonflower and vote for my design?! Many thanks!
This week's Spoonflower contest is titled "Under the Sea" and the object is to design a nautically inspired tee shirt for a toddler girl. The winning design will be featured in Storey Publishing's upcoming book: 101 Little One-Yard Wonders. Please head over to Spoonflower and vote for my design!
Here is my entry for this week's Spoonflower contest - it's called Flightless Fancy. This week's requirements were to create a bird or flight-related fabric in a limited color palette of grey, green, turquoise and yellow. The winner will be used in a cover photo for the UK craft magazine Mollie Makes. Wish me luck!
If you'd like to vote in this week's contest, here's the link.
